Metrics on the quantum Heisenberg manifold

Summary: Recently Rieffel has introduced the notion of compact quantum metric spaces. He has produced examples using ergodic action of compact Lie groups. In the present note we construct examples of compact quantum metric spaces on the quantum Heisenberg manifolds using ergodic action of the Heisenberg group.
