On $C^*$-algebras associated with sofic shifts

Summary: We show that for every sofic shift $\Lambda$ that satisfies a certain condition, Matsumoto's $C^*$-algebra $\Oo_\Lambda$ is isomorphic to the Cuntz-Krieger algebra of the left Krieger cover graph of $\Lambda$.
